Solid driftwood, carved into three climbing strands. The Twisted Vine Wooden Floor Lamp rises from a root-like base to a glowing leaf shade. Open gaps between the strands let the wall show through.
The Vine
Each strand follows its own spiral. The three cross four or five times on the way up, then gather into one neck beneath the shade. They taper as they climb and thicken at each crossing for strength. Every strand is shaped by hand with gouges, rasps and fine sandpaper, and the grain follows the twist without a break.

- Root base with splayed feet and felt pads, steady on carpet or hardwood
- Drum shade with a cut-out leaf pattern in amber on warm cream
- Two-tone grain in walnut brown with honey highlights, never stained

Light and Care
With the bulb on, leaf shapes glow through the shade and cast soft patterns on the ceiling. Place it by a bed, beside an armchair or in an entryway. It is for dry indoor rooms only, not bathrooms or outdoors. Dust between the strands with a soft brush, wipe the outside with a dry cloth, and keep the shade out of direct sun so it fades evenly.
Driftwood varies in density and curve. Crossing angles, strand thickness and openings will shift from lamp to lamp. Each one is handcrafted to order by a partner artisan workshop, so no two are alike.

Shipping is free on U.S. orders of $75 or more; orders under $75 ship for a flat $5.95. We currently ship to U.S. addresses only.
This piece is handcrafted to your order by our partner artisan workshops: about 7-10 days of cutting and carving, then photos of your actual piece for your approval, then about a week of finishing and crating. You can change or cancel this made-to-order piece within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. Before finishing we send photos of your actual piece - once you approve them, it is final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind.
If it arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you. Natural variation in grain, knots and colour is part of handmade wood and is not a defect.

Choose your size from the options above; every measurement is listed in the size names and the description. Because each piece is cut from natural wood, grain, knots and colour vary, and large pieces can differ by up to about an inch.
Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep the piece out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and refresh oiled finishes with a wood oil once or twice a year.
