The Slab
The top is wide and undulating. Knots, voids and bark texture stay visible. There is room for multiple monitors, papers and a lamp. A clear matte seal resists water and scratches without hiding the raw feel of the wood. The grain flows along the full length, so the surface reads as part of a tree rather than a panel.
The Base
- Fluted trunk pedestals: two carved root bases for steady support.
- Open center: generous legroom between the pedestals.
- Natural contrast: warm wood against glass, concrete or steel.
- Honey-amber tones: brought out by the grain.
Practical Notes
The desk is very heavy. Placement takes more than one person. Only the desk is included. Dust with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Wipe spills promptly.
Handcrafted to order, each desk shows its own live-edge line, fissures, knots and grain. No two slabs are alike. The one you receive will be unrepeatable.

This piece is handcrafted to your order by our partner artisan workshops: about 7-10 days of cutting and carving, then photos of your actual piece for your approval, then about a week of finishing and crating. You can change or cancel this made-to-order piece within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. Before finishing we send photos of your actual piece - once you approve them, it is final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind.
If it arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you. Natural variation in grain, knots and colour is part of handmade wood and is not a defect.

Choose your size from the options above; every measurement is listed in the size names and the description. Because each piece is cut from natural wood, grain, knots and colour vary, and large pieces can differ by up to about an inch.
Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep the piece out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and refresh oiled finishes with a wood oil once or twice a year.
