Sculptural Hand-Carved Tree Solid Wood Open Wardrobe Closet System & Branch Wall Storage Bench
Sculptural Hand-Carved Tree Solid Wood Open Wardrobe Closet System & Branch Wall Storage Bench
Solid wood, carved by hand into the shape of a tree. A single trunk rises along one side, arches over into a hanging bay, and spreads leaf-tipped branches across the wall. This Sculptural Hand-Carved Tree Solid Wood Open Wardrobe Closet System & Branch Wall Storage Bench brings a quiet order to a bedroom or dressing room.
The Form
The trunk carries fluted bark texture. The branches end in carved leaves. Shelf edges are softly rounded. Grain runs unbroken where the limbs bend.
The Storage
- Arched garment bay: a sturdy horizontal rod for shirts, coats or robes, with a cubby above for folded linens.
- Floating ledge: a mid-level counter for display or daily essentials.
- Two-drawer plinth: a low chest at the base for accessories and undergarments.
- Protective finish: a matte seal that resists water and scratches while keeping the surface smooth.
Setup and Care
The piece is heavy and spans the wall. It must be fixed into wall studs with heavy-duty anti-tip hardware; mounting hardware is included. Hangers, baskets and accessories are not. Dust with a soft, dry cloth or brush along the carved leaves. Wipe moisture promptly. Skip harsh chemical cleaners.
Each unit is handcrafted to order by partner artisan workshops. Branch curves, grain swirls, tone and knots differ from piece to piece. No two will match, and that is the point.
Shipping, returns & care
Shipping is free on U.S. orders of $75 or more; orders under $75 ship for a flat $5.95. We currently ship to U.S. addresses only.
This piece is handcrafted to your order by our partner artisan workshops: about 7-10 days of cutting and carving, then photos of your actual piece for your approval, then about a week of finishing and crating. It ships directly to you with tracking and arrives in another 3-7 business days - about 3-4 weeks in total. Contiguous U.S. only; contact us for Alaska or Hawaii. Full details on our Shipping Policy.
You can change or cancel this made-to-order piece within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. Before finishing we send photos of your actual piece - once you approve them, it is final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind.
If it arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you. Natural variation in grain, knots and colour is part of handmade wood and is not a defect.
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. See the full Refund Policy.
Choose your size from the options above; every measurement is listed in the size names and the description. Because each piece is cut from natural wood, grain, knots and colour vary, and large pieces can differ by up to about an inch.
Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep the piece out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and refresh oiled finishes with a wood oil once or twice a year.
