Morning light on a honey-oak desktop, a favorite mug, a few books within arm's reach: this is a desk that makes a home office feel lived in. The Biophilic Sculptural Solid Wood Desk joins a flowing hutch bookcase to a drawer-lined workstation in one solid timber piece.
Soft Curves, Real Wood
It is built from solid timber with no veneer, showing straight grain, subtle heartwood changes and a warm honey-oak finish. The wavy hutch, the rounded desktop corner and the carved wooden pull are all shaped and sanded by hand.
Room to Work and Store
The upper hutch steps along in fluid tiers for reading copies, ceramic pieces and small art. Below, pedestal cabinets on each side hold drawers that glide smoothly, and a central open ledge keeps reference books close.

Fitting Your Space
Width, hutch height and knee-hole width can be matched to an alcove. A thicker desktop or a different drawer layout can be arranged for an added cost. It is heavy, so plan on two or more people for placement.
Color, grain and slight seasonal movement differ from piece to piece, as they should in real wood. Each desk is handcrafted to order.
Shipping, returns & care
Shipping is free on U.S. orders of $75 or more; orders under $75 ship for a flat $5.95. We currently ship to U.S. addresses only.
This piece is handcrafted to your order by our partner artisan workshops: about 7-10 days of cutting and carving, then photos of your actual piece for your approval, then about a week of finishing and crating. You can change or cancel this made-to-order piece within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. Before finishing we send photos of your actual piece - once you approve them, it is final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind.
If it arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you. Natural variation in grain, knots and colour is part of handmade wood and is not a defect.

Choose your size from the options above; every measurement is listed in the size names and the description. Because each piece is cut from natural wood, grain, knots and colour vary, and large pieces can differ by up to about an inch.
Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep the piece out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and refresh oiled finishes with a wood oil once or twice a year.
