Solid Walnut Sculptural Bench
Solid Walnut Sculptural Bench
Dropping your keys, sitting to tug off your boots, waiting for the kettle by the window: the Solid Walnut Sculptural Bench makes those small moments a little more graceful. Its wave-like curves give a hallway or bedroom something lovely to look at, even when no one is sitting.
Hand-Shaped Curves
The bench is crafted from solid wood, and its sweeping S-curve and rolling edges are carved by hand. Grain runs across every sculpted surface, so the piece feels rich to the touch and develops a soft patina with time.
Practical, Too
Beneath the artistry is a comfortable seat with smooth, flowing lines and a sculptural base that keeps it stable. The low profile and open structure keep a room feeling airy rather than crowded.
- Solid wood with hand-carved wave form
- Comfortable seat with smooth contours
- Stable sculptural base
- Low, open profile
- Length, width and height can be adjusted
Where to Use It
Try it in an entryway, at the foot of a bed, in the living room or under a large window. It suits Japandi, minimalist and organic modern interiors especially well.
Grain variation and hand shaping mean no two benches are identical. Each one is handcrafted to order by a partner artisan workshop to the proportions you choose.
Shipping, returns & care
Shipping is free on U.S. orders of $75 or more; orders under $75 ship for a flat $5.95. We currently ship to U.S. addresses only.
This piece is handcrafted to your order by our partner artisan workshops: about 7-10 days of cutting and carving, then photos of your actual piece for your approval, then about a week of finishing and crating. It ships directly to you with tracking and arrives in another 3-7 business days - about 3-4 weeks in total. Contiguous U.S. only; contact us for Alaska or Hawaii. Full details on our Shipping Policy.
You can change or cancel this made-to-order piece within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. Before finishing we send photos of your actual piece - once you approve them, it is final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind.
If it arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you. Natural variation in grain, knots and colour is part of handmade wood and is not a defect.
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. See the full Refund Policy.
Choose your size from the options above; every measurement is listed in the size names and the description. Because each piece is cut from natural wood, grain, knots and colour vary, and large pieces can differ by up to about an inch.
Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep the piece out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and refresh oiled finishes with a wood oil once or twice a year.
