Sculptural Handcrafted Bentwood Bridge Solid Wood Desk & Dual Loop Cubby Writing Table

Size

There is something calming about sitting down at a desk with no sharp corners. The Sculptural Handcrafted Bentwood Bridge Solid Wood Desk sweeps in one continuous arch, curving down at each end and looping back to form two rounded cubbies beneath the top.

Space to Work

The wide, flat surface makes room for a laptop, monitor, lamp and a cup of coffee, with comfortable legroom in the middle. The two loop cubbies tuck book stacks, binders or tech pouches out of the way without crowding your knees.

Highlights

  • Continuous bentwood silhouette with soft rounded edges.
  • Two pill-shaped pedestal cubbies for low-profile storage.
  • Dark, warm walnut tone with grain that wraps each curve.
  • Matte seal that resists water, scratches and mug rings.

Care

The desk is heavy, so it stays steady while you type. Dust with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and wipe spills promptly. Only the desk is included.

Each desk is handcrafted to order, which means grain, knots and shade shift a little from one to the next. Yours will have its own quiet character.

Shipping, returns & care

Shipping is free on U.S. orders of $75 or more; orders under $75 ship for a flat $5.95. We currently ship to U.S. addresses only.

This piece is handcrafted to your order by our partner artisan workshops: about 7-10 days of cutting and carving, then photos of your actual piece for your approval, then about a week of finishing and crating. It ships directly to you with tracking and arrives in another 3-7 business days - about 3-4 weeks in total. Contiguous U.S. only; contact us for Alaska or Hawaii. Full details on our Shipping Policy.

You can change or cancel this made-to-order piece within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. Before finishing we send photos of your actual piece - once you approve them, it is final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind.

If it arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you. Natural variation in grain, knots and colour is part of handmade wood and is not a defect.

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. See the full Refund Policy.

Choose your size from the options above; every measurement is listed in the size names and the description. Because each piece is cut from natural wood, grain, knots and colour vary, and large pieces can differ by up to about an inch.

Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep the piece out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and refresh oiled finishes with a wood oil once or twice a year.
