Sculptural Hand-Carved Tree Solid Wood Bookshelf & Branch Wall Display Unit With Integrated Low Reading Bench
Sculptural Hand-Carved Tree Solid Wood Bookshelf & Branch Wall Display Unit With Integrated Low Reading Bench
Built for a living room, home library or sunny bedroom, the Sculptural Hand-Carved Tree Solid Wood Bookshelf and Branch Wall Display Unit With Integrated Low Reading Bench gives you a seat and a library in one piece. A fluted trunk rises from the floor beside a low contoured bench, then branches across the wall to carry tiered shelves for books, art and ceramics.
Seat and Shelves
- Low sculpted bench for reading, lounging or a row of pillows
- Staggered solid wood ledges for hardcover sets and framed art
- Carved leafy tips that soften straight walls
- Heavy base for a low center of gravity
The Wood
Carved from solid wood, the bark ridges, branch forks and bench curve show deep grain and light honey-oak tones, with softened shelf edges. A clear matte seal protects against handling, humidity and dust.
Sizing and Setup
The bench can be lengthened, shelves deepened and branch clearance adjusted. Left or right trunk orientation and stain tones such as walnut or espresso are available for an added fee. Heavy-duty anti-tip anchoring into wall studs is required. Cushions and pillows are not included. Dust the grooves with a soft cloth or brush.
Each unit is handcrafted to order by a partner artisan workshop, so bark texture, branch curves, grain and knots vary from one to the next.
Shipping, returns & care
Shipping is free on U.S. orders of $75 or more; orders under $75 ship for a flat $5.95. We currently ship to U.S. addresses only.
This piece is handcrafted to your order by our partner artisan workshops: about 7-10 days of cutting and carving, then photos of your actual piece for your approval, then about a week of finishing and crating. It ships directly to you with tracking and arrives in another 3-7 business days - about 3-4 weeks in total. Contiguous U.S. only; contact us for Alaska or Hawaii. Full details on our Shipping Policy.
You can change or cancel this made-to-order piece within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. Before finishing we send photos of your actual piece - once you approve them, it is final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind.
If it arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you. Natural variation in grain, knots and colour is part of handmade wood and is not a defect.
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. See the full Refund Policy.
Choose your size from the options above; every measurement is listed in the size names and the description. Because each piece is cut from natural wood, grain, knots and colour vary, and large pieces can differ by up to about an inch.
Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep the piece out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and refresh oiled finishes with a wood oil once or twice a year.
