Two trunks twist around each other as they rise, leaving open space between them before they split into a crown of pegs. The Sculptural Hand-Carved Intertwined Solid Wood Tree Coat Rack stands on its own on a weighted, flared base and looks like sculpture even when nothing is hanging from it.

Hand-Carved Character
The intertwined limbs and rounded nodes are carved from solid wood with warm honey-teak tones and grain that follows every twist. A clear matte finish shields the wood from garment friction, damp outerwear and handling.
Where It Stands
Place it in a foyer, a dressing room or a long hallway. Height, branch span and base diameter can be customized, and stain tones, sheen and wood species are available for an added fee. Dust along the branches with a soft dry cloth and wipe away moisture from wet raincoats promptly.
Each rack is handcrafted to order by a partner artisan workshop, so the twist of the branches, the grain and the knots will vary from piece to piece.

Shipping is free on U.S. orders of $75 or more; orders under $75 ship for a flat $5.95. We currently ship to U.S. addresses only.
This piece is handcrafted to your order by our partner artisan workshops: about 7-10 days of cutting and carving, then photos of your actual piece for your approval, then about a week of finishing and crating. You can change or cancel this made-to-order piece within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. Before finishing we send photos of your actual piece - once you approve them, it is final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind.
If it arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you. Natural variation in grain, knots and colour is part of handmade wood and is not a defect.

Choose your size from the options above; every measurement is listed in the size names and the description. Because each piece is cut from natural wood, grain, knots and colour vary, and large pieces can differ by up to about an inch.
Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep the piece out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and refresh oiled finishes with a wood oil once or twice a year.
