Proper installation with solid wall support is important, particularly if the shelf will carry books or other weighty items. Anchor it into studs where possible, or use anchors rated for the load. Once it is up, style it loosely: a candle, a trailing plant, a favorite mug or two, and it starts to feel like it has always been there.
Knots, grain and the line of the live edge differ on every board, so your shelf will not match the photos exactly. It is handcrafted to order by a partner artisan workshop, which gives it a character all its own.

This piece is handcrafted to your order by our partner artisan workshops: about 7-10 days of cutting and carving, then photos of your actual piece for your approval, then about a week of finishing and crating. You can change or cancel this made-to-order piece within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. Before finishing we send photos of your actual piece - once you approve them, it is final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind.
If it arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you. Natural variation in grain, knots and colour is part of handmade wood and is not a defect.

Choose your size from the options above; every measurement is listed in the size names and the description. Because each piece is cut from natural wood, grain, knots and colour vary, and large pieces can differ by up to about an inch.
Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep the piece out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and refresh oiled finishes with a wood oil once or twice a year.
