Organic Modern Live Edge Solid Wood Kitchen Island Countertop
Organic Modern Live Edge Solid Wood Kitchen Island Countertop
Coffee at the counter, chopping vegetables while someone pulls up a stool, a platter set out for friends: the kitchen island is where the day gathers. The Organic Modern Live Edge Solid Wood Kitchen Island Countertop gives that spot a thick hardwood slab with its natural bark-side edges kept intact.
Grain You Can Feel
The slab is solid timber without veneer, with flowing grain, deep growth rings and a golden amber glow. Natural curves, knot voids and edge ridges are kept, then hand-sanded until smooth to the touch.
Made for Daily Kitchen Use
A matte sealant that is food-safe and resists moisture protects the surface from everyday spills. Trivets for hot pans and cutting boards for prep are still a must to keep the wood looking its best.
- Generous surface: prep station, breakfast bar overhang or buffet top
- Flexible fit: mounts on fluted wooden bases, standard cabinet islands or custom frames
- Sealed finish: matte, food-safe and moisture resistant
- Secure fastening: the heavy slab must be fixed to a sturdy island base
Cut to Your Island
Length and width can follow your base, seating overhang or sink cutout. An extra-thick slab or a different edge bevel can be requested for an added cost.
Real wood breathes, so expect gentle shifts in color and grain and slight seasonal movement. Every countertop is handcrafted to order, and no two slabs are alike.

Choose your size from the options above; every measurement is listed in the size names and the description. Because each piece is cut from natural wood, grain, knots and colour vary, and large pieces can differ by up to about an inch.
Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep the piece out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and refresh oiled finishes with a wood oil once or twice a year.
