The Mid Century Live Edge Coffee Table works best at the center of a large living room, in front of a low sofa, where its heavy slab and root-shaped base can hold the space. The top offers a broad surface for books, trays and drinks.
What Makes It Different
Rather than a top bolted to legs, the table is carved as one continuous structure. The base is sculpted to resemble the spreading roots of a standing tree, and a shallow recess carved into the top invites a hand to trace the grain.

Expect natural knots, shifts in color and small seasoning checks, which are normal in wood this substantial. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from strong heat sources.
Each table is handcrafted to order by a partner artisan workshop, following the contours of its own slab, so no two are identical.

Shipping is free on U.S. orders of $75 or more; orders under $75 ship for a flat $5.95. We currently ship to U.S. addresses only.
This piece is handcrafted to your order by our partner artisan workshops: about 7-10 days of cutting and carving, then photos of your actual piece for your approval, then about a week of finishing and crating. You can change or cancel this made-to-order piece within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. Before finishing we send photos of your actual piece - once you approve them, it is final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind.
If it arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you. Natural variation in grain, knots and colour is part of handmade wood and is not a defect.

Choose your size from the options above; every measurement is listed in the size names and the description. Because each piece is cut from natural wood, grain, knots and colour vary, and large pieces can differ by up to about an inch.
Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep the piece out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and refresh oiled finishes with a wood oil once or twice a year.
