Live Edge Solid Wood Bench
Live Edge Solid Wood Bench
There is something about a bench by the door or out on the porch that makes a house feel settled, a place to pause, untie shoes or watch the evening come in. The Live Edge Solid Wood Bench brings that ease to any space. Its smooth organic lines and sculptural shape are worked from solid hardwood.
Comfort Meets Craft
A backrest lets you lean in and stay a while, while the minimal design keeps the piece light on its feet. Curved lines and cut-out legs give it a flowing, artistic look that holds its own as a statement piece.
Garden, Patio or Hall
It is equally at home in a garden, on a patio, in an entryway or indoors as functional art. You can choose a preferred size, wood type or finish so it fits the space you have.
- Solid hardwood construction
- Live edge inspired, sculptural form
- Backrest for relaxed seating
- Indoor or outdoor use
- Custom size, wood type and finish
Keeping It Beautiful
A damp cloth handles routine cleaning; leave harsh chemicals out of it. For outdoor placement, a yearly coat of protective oil is recommended.
Each bench is handcrafted to order by a partner artisan workshop. Grain and tone will vary from the photos, so your bench will carry its own distinct character.
Shipping, returns & care
Shipping is free on U.S. orders of $75 or more; orders under $75 ship for a flat $5.95. We currently ship to U.S. addresses only.
This piece is handcrafted to your order by our partner artisan workshops: about 7-10 days of cutting and carving, then photos of your actual piece for your approval, then about a week of finishing and crating. It ships directly to you with tracking and arrives in another 3-7 business days - about 3-4 weeks in total. Contiguous U.S. only; contact us for Alaska or Hawaii. Full details on our Shipping Policy.
You can change or cancel this made-to-order piece within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. Before finishing we send photos of your actual piece - once you approve them, it is final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind.
If it arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you. Natural variation in grain, knots and colour is part of handmade wood and is not a defect.
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. See the full Refund Policy.
Choose your size from the options above; every measurement is listed in the size names and the description. Because each piece is cut from natural wood, grain, knots and colour vary, and large pieces can differ by up to about an inch.
Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep the piece out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and refresh oiled finishes with a wood oil once or twice a year.
