Solid wood, shaped into a wave. The Handcrafted Solid Wood Artistic Wood Bench follows a soft S-curve from end to end. It seats several people. It also stands on its own as sculpture.
Shaped by Hand
Each curve and rolling edge is formed by hand. Open cutouts lighten the base and let the eye pass through. The grain runs unbroken across the piece, so the wood itself traces the motion of the form. Over time, the surface deepens into a warmer patina.

Placement

Grain, tone and the exact flow of each curve will vary. Every bench is handcrafted to order by a partner artisan workshop, which means yours carries its own character and is never an exact copy.
Shipping, returns & care
Shipping is free on U.S. orders of $75 or more; orders under $75 ship for a flat $5.95. We currently ship to U.S. addresses only.
This piece is handcrafted to your order by our partner artisan workshops: about 7-10 days of cutting and carving, then photos of your actual piece for your approval, then about a week of finishing and crating. You can change or cancel this made-to-order piece within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. Before finishing we send photos of your actual piece - once you approve them, it is final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind.
If it arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you. Natural variation in grain, knots and colour is part of handmade wood and is not a defect.

Choose your size from the options above; every measurement is listed in the size names and the description. Because each piece is cut from natural wood, grain, knots and colour vary, and large pieces can differ by up to about an inch.
Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep the piece out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and refresh oiled finishes with a wood oil once or twice a year.
