Elegant Modern Wooden Sofa With Sculptural Frame
Elegant Modern Wooden Sofa With Sculptural Frame
Long, unbroken curves define the Elegant Modern Wooden Sofa With Sculptural Frame, and the grain follows every one of them. Shaped from a single slab of solid wood with a live edge, it reads as much like sculpture as seating.
Form First
The frame is smooth and contoured, rising into integrated armrests and a sculptural backrest that offer real support. Below, a solid wood base gives the whole piece a grounded, durable footing. The edges keep the organic outline of the tree, so the silhouette is never quite the same twice.
Finish and Detail
Each surface is sanded by hand and then sealed with eco-friendly oils or sealants, which bring out the depth of the tones without hiding the texture.
- Sculpted from a single slab of solid wood
- Live edge detailing unique to each sofa
- Integrated armrests and contoured backrest
- Hand-sanded, finished with natural oils or sealants
- Size, wood species and finish can be customized
Where It Belongs
It suits modern rustic rooms, cabin living spaces and interiors built around natural materials, where a quiet statement piece can anchor the layout.
Grain, tone and edge shape vary from slab to slab, so no two sofas match exactly. Each one is handcrafted to order by a partner artisan workshop, following the size, species and finish you choose.
Shipping, returns & care
Shipping is free on U.S. orders of $75 or more; orders under $75 ship for a flat $5.95. We currently ship to U.S. addresses only.
This piece is handcrafted to your order by our partner artisan workshops: about 7-10 days of cutting and carving, then photos of your actual piece for your approval, then about a week of finishing and crating. It ships directly to you with tracking and arrives in another 3-7 business days - about 3-4 weeks in total. Contiguous U.S. only; contact us for Alaska or Hawaii. Full details on our Shipping Policy.
You can change or cancel this made-to-order piece within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. Before finishing we send photos of your actual piece - once you approve them, it is final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind.
If it arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you. Natural variation in grain, knots and colour is part of handmade wood and is not a defect.
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. See the full Refund Policy.
Choose your size from the options above; every measurement is listed in the size names and the description. Because each piece is cut from natural wood, grain, knots and colour vary, and large pieces can differ by up to about an inch.
Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep the piece out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and refresh oiled finishes with a wood oil once or twice a year.
