Driftwood Wall Sconce
Driftwood Wall Sconce
Curves worn smooth by water and weather give the Driftwood Wall Sconce its shape. Each one starts as a piece of real, naturally weathered driftwood, so its outline, texture and grain are never repeated.
Shape and Light
The light sits behind the wood, so the glow spills softly around the edges and outlines the form against the wall. The effect is calm and earthy, more ambient than task lighting, and it brings a gentle warmth to the room after dark.
Placement
Hang it above a console, beside the bed or along a hallway as a statement light. It suits rustic, wabi-sabi, Japandi and organic modern interiors, where natural texture is part of the design. The sconce is wall-mounted and can be set up hardwired or as a plug-in, depending on your preference.
- Made from authentic driftwood
- Soft backlighting for a warm glow
- Wall-mounted, hardwired or plug-in option
- Custom sizing and finishes on request
- Suited to organic and minimalist interiors
Because no two pieces of driftwood are alike, your sconce will differ in form and tone from the one pictured. Each is handcrafted to order by a partner artisan workshop, which makes it a quietly personal addition to the wall.

This piece is handcrafted to your order by our partner artisan workshops: about 7-10 days of cutting and carving, then photos of your actual piece for your approval, then about a week of finishing and crating. It ships directly to you with tracking and arrives in another 3-7 business days - about 3-4 weeks in total. Contiguous U.S. only; contact us for Alaska or Hawaii. Full details on our Shipping Policy.
You can change or cancel this made-to-order piece within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. Before finishing we send photos of your actual piece - once you approve them, it is final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind.
If it arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you. Natural variation in grain, knots and colour is part of handmade wood and is not a defect.
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. See the full Refund Policy.
Choose your size from the options above; every measurement is listed in the size names and the description. Because each piece is cut from natural wood, grain, knots and colour vary, and large pieces can differ by up to about an inch.
Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep the piece out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and refresh oiled finishes with a wood oil once or twice a year.
