Stand it against an accent wall in a living room or reading alcove and it holds a whole shelf's worth of books along with ceramics and plants. The Biophilic Sculptural Solid Wood Tree Bookshelf rises from a grounded root foot as a solid hardwood trunk and branches into five level shelves.
What It Holds
Five staggered solid wood platforms sit at different heights, giving room for heavy stacks of books, large art volumes and decorative objects. The uneven spacing lets tall and short pieces share the same frame.
How It Stands
The trunk rests directly on the floor with a horizontal base runner, so the load goes downward rather than onto the wall. Because the form is tall and asymmetric, fixing the upper trunk or branches to wall studs with concealed anti-tip brackets is strongly recommended.

Shipping is free on U.S. orders of $75 or more; orders under $75 ship for a flat $5.95. We currently ship to U.S. addresses only.
This piece is handcrafted to your order by our partner artisan workshops: about 7-10 days of cutting and carving, then photos of your actual piece for your approval, then about a week of finishing and crating. You can change or cancel this made-to-order piece within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. Before finishing we send photos of your actual piece - once you approve them, it is final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind.
If it arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you. Natural variation in grain, knots and colour is part of handmade wood and is not a defect.

Choose your size from the options above; every measurement is listed in the size names and the description. Because each piece is cut from natural wood, grain, knots and colour vary, and large pieces can differ by up to about an inch.
Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep the piece out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and refresh oiled finishes with a wood oil once or twice a year.
