Biomorphic Solid Wood Lounge Daybed & Bookshelf
Biomorphic Solid Wood Lounge Daybed & Bookshelf
Its outline curves without a single hard corner, and swirling grain follows those curves from end to end. The Biomorphic Solid Wood Lounge Daybed & Bookshelf is one sculpted piece that works as a lounge seat and a multi-level library at once.
Form and Grain
Hand-sculpted from solid timber with no veneer, it shows fluid grain, knot eyes and warm honey-amber undertones. Every cavity, rounded rim and transition is carved and sanded smooth by hand.
Seat and Shelves Together
A sculpted seat sits within carved cubbies on several levels, so books, ceramics and decor stay within reach while you relax. A hollow shelf beneath the seat holds oversized books, magazines or a spare throw.
- Dual use: lounge seating combined with display cubbies
- Under-seat shelf: open storage below the seating area
- Continuous curves: organic lines that cast soft shadows
- Very heavy: allow floor clearance and use several people to position it
Proportions
Width, height and seat depth can be matched to your wall and ceiling. Thicker contours or a slimmer profile are possible for an added cost. It sits well against a neutral wall or near tall glass doors.
Tone and grain vary across real wood, and minor seasonal movement is natural, so each piece is singular. It is handcrafted to order.

If it arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you. Natural variation in grain, knots and colour is part of handmade wood and is not a defect.
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. See the full Refund Policy.
Choose your size from the options above; every measurement is listed in the size names and the description. Because each piece is cut from natural wood, grain, knots and colour vary, and large pieces can differ by up to about an inch.
Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep the piece out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and refresh oiled finishes with a wood oil once or twice a year.
