Biomorphic Perforated Solid Wood Accent Chair Organic Fluid Sculptural Lounger
Biomorphic Perforated Solid Wood Accent Chair Organic Fluid Sculptural Lounger
Solid wood, carved into one fluid form. This biomorphic accent chair pairs a dished seat with a high, wing-style back. Open cutouts in the backrest let light pass through.
Form
Thick pillar legs flow into the seat and rise into the back without a visible joint. The perforations cast moving shadows across the floor. It reads as sculpture first and seat second, yet it supports the body comfortably for reading or lounging.
Material
No plastic. No fillers. No flat veneer. Grain wraps every curve, cutout and rounded edge. A hand-applied satin finish leaves the surface smooth and warm.
- Perforated backrest with organic openings
- Gently dished seat and tall wing-style back
- Sculpted pillar legs for weighted stability
- Wood thickness can be adjusted for a small fee
- Seat width, back height and seat height can be tailored
Comfort Note
The seat is firm. For long sessions, add a sheepskin throw or linen cushion. Place it in a sunny reading nook, a bedroom corner or an office.
Handcrafted to order by a partner artisan workshop. Grain flow, tone and fine natural fissures differ in each chair. Yours will be one of a kind.

Choose your size from the options above; every measurement is listed in the size names and the description. Because each piece is cut from natural wood, grain, knots and colour vary, and large pieces can differ by up to about an inch.
Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep the piece out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and refresh oiled finishes with a wood oil once or twice a year.
