Designed for a nursery, a Montessori-style bedroom or a playroom, the Artisanal Solid Wood Tree Daybed and Integrated Storybook Reading Nook Bookshelf pairs a low resting spot with tiered shelves for picture books and toys. A carved tree branch arches over the whole unit, hung with small wooden stars.

Where It Works
Set it against an accent wall beside a glider or rocker for a reading corner, or use it in a child's bedroom where books and rest stay at floor height. It also makes a photogenic centerpiece for a playroom or photo studio. Daybed width and length, tree height, branch spread and shelf depth can all be sized to your room, and thickness can be adjusted for an added fee.
Care and Safety
The tree and shelving must be anchored into wall studs. Wipe with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth, skip harsh chemicals and keep it away from heating vents.
Handcrafted to order by a partner artisan workshop from solid wood, each unit shows its own grain, soft tonal shifts and knots, and it may move slightly with seasonal humidity.

Shipping is free on U.S. orders of $75 or more; orders under $75 ship for a flat $5.95. We currently ship to U.S. addresses only.
This piece is handcrafted to your order by our partner artisan workshops: about 7-10 days of cutting and carving, then photos of your actual piece for your approval, then about a week of finishing and crating. You can change or cancel this made-to-order piece within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. Before finishing we send photos of your actual piece - once you approve them, it is final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind.
If it arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you. Natural variation in grain, knots and colour is part of handmade wood and is not a defect.

Choose your size from the options above; every measurement is listed in the size names and the description. Because each piece is cut from natural wood, grain, knots and colour vary, and large pieces can differ by up to about an inch.
Dust with a soft dry cloth, keep the piece out of standing water and long hours of direct sun, and refresh oiled finishes with a wood oil once or twice a year.
